CMS CHARITIES

The event’s special guest, Alice Cooper has all eight cylinders fired for the event: “I’m from Detroit, the Motor City. My heart runs on high octane, 400 horsepower, four on the floor, muscle car fuel. My dad was a used-car salesman in Detroit in the 1950s. Cars have always been part of my life.”
“When my friend West Kenyon presented this concept of a classic car show, I said, ‘I’m in!’” he adds. “I’m eager to partner with West and Camelback Motor Show to benefit the nonprofit I helped start 25 years ago: Solid Rock. West told me: ‘no black leather jacket, wear a tux.’”

In 2018 the Hope Women's Center served over 1,500 women and teen girls and more than 300 infants and children between their four center locations across Arizona (East Valley, West Valley, Coolidge, and Phoenix).
Hope Women's Center is a resource and referral center for women and teen girls facing any difficult life situation including unplanned pregnancy, domestic & sexual abuse, poverty, single parenting, substance abuse, and family conflict. We offer free life skills education, mentoring, support groups, material resources, free childcare while moms are participating in programs, a program for birth moms with children in foster care, and community resource referrals.

CMS PARTNERS

"I am thrilled and delighted that Phoenix Chorale is able to partner with the Camelback Motor Show for this event celebrating the cars of the Roaring 20s. We all know that cars make a special music all of their own, whether it's their engines "singing" or motors "humming" - and the Roaring 20s immediately brings to mind a soundtrack of the underground jazz speakeasy and quick getaway cars! Over the years the Chorale has performed many times in Camelback Bible Church, presenting music from across the ages including the great American Standards that were written in the early part of the 20th Century, when these mighty machines would have been cruising the streets. I feel we're pretty much like a classic car ourselves, consisting of finely engineered parts together making up a beautiful work of art that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
And let's face it, where is the pleasure of an afternoon drive without the stereo on, adding to the ambience of the occasion? Whatever your pleasure, classic rock or classic choral, we look forward to a long collaboration with this unique event, and hope to add an in-person soundtrack to the experience as soon as possible. In the meantime, enjoy the cars and find out more about the Chorale through our website, www.phoenixchorale.org. We hope you enjoy listening!"
